Non-Verbal Reasoning & Spatial Logic
Non-verbal tests evaluate abstract reasoning, geometric transformations, spatial visualization, and mental rotation without language bias.
Fundamental Non-Verbal Pattern Rules
Pattern Matrix (3x3 Grid)
Look across rows first, then down columns. Check for addition/subtraction of elements, shaded areas, or line rotations.
Rotational Transformation
Identify rotation angles: 45°, 90°, 135°, or 180°. Observe if shapes rotate clockwise (CW) or counter-clockwise (CCW).
Classification & Odd One Out
Count sides, vertices, internal dots, open vs closed curves, and axis of symmetry to identify the anomaly.
Analogous Geometric Figures
Figure A relates to Figure B through inversion, duplication, or color reversal; apply identical rule from Figure C to D.
Paper Folding & Transparent Punching
Simulate crease lines as mirror reflection axes. Unfolding duplicates punch holes across the fold axis.
Dot Situation Logic
Analyze the geometric overlap where a dot sits (e.g. inside triangle and circle only, but outside square).
